Bridlepath’s Human Team

Danielle Denlinger

Hi friends! My name is Danielle Denlinger - I am the Founder and Executive Director of Bridlepath Equine Center. I have partnered up with the Kauffman Family on their wonderful Trailside Farm located in Quarryville, PA to serve an incredible population of individuals with special needs through Equine Assisted Activities.

I have been blessed to grow up with horses and learn from many professionals in the equine industry over the years.

I went to York College of Pennsylvania and received a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science in 2016. During college, I had the opportunity to volunteer at a therapeutic riding program, which ultimately is what grew my passion for working with individuals with special needs and horses. Soon after college, I earned my Instructor Certification in therapeutic riding through both PATH International and CECTH (Council of Education & Certification in Therapeutic Horsemanship) in 2017. Then in 2022, I earned my Master Level Instructor Certification through CECTH.

I have experience volunteering and teaching at a variety of programs and summer camps, and I am excited to take what I've learned from all of these great programs and transfer that to Bridlepath Equine Center.

Natalie Martin

Hi! My name is Natalie Martin, I am a therapeutic riding instructor and barn assistant here at Bridlepath Equine Center.

Growing up I loved horses and was able to go on a few trail rides but I never owned horses of my own. In 2019 I started taking riding lessons and haven’t looked back.

I went to Liberty University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2022. During my senior year, I interned at a therapeutic riding center and fell in love. Watching the participants connect and grow through equine assisted activities was incredible. After my internship, I pursued becoming a therapeutic riding instructor and was certified through PATH International in 2023. I enjoy watching my students accomplish their goals and grow in relationship with both their human and horse teammates!

“We are so happy to partner with Danielle on what has become a beautiful overlap of a desire to help individuals with special needs. One year ago, Lee and I knew that we would be entering a new season and, as we discussed what God may have for us, we were both feeling called to explore programs designed for individuals with disabilities. In the mean time I was meeting with Danielle and she was sharing her dream of starting a non profit for equine therapy. I was excited as she shared, and encouraged her to follow her passion, but we both continued on our own paths of research and planning. Fast forward a couple months and we found out about a farm being sold close to us and it felt like the perfect setting for our vision for the future. I then remembered Danielle’s dream and the rest is history! Our vision and her dream came together and we are excited to see how God continues to work through our combination of skills, passion, resources, and love for people."
